An update to Ruger's proven American platform, the Ruger American® Gen II Bolt-Action Rifle with AR-Style Magazine makes a great choice for both hunters and shooters alike. The high-performance stock design offers an adjustable length of pull and comb height adjustment, as well as a soft rubber recoil pad on the back for easy shouldering and reduced felt recoil. The rifle's cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel features deep spiral flutes for reduced weight and cooling times, and precise rifling inside to enhance accuracy. The threaded barrel is standard, and also comes with a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake to help reduce felt recoil. Ruger's Power Bedding™ integral bedding block system anchors the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. The receiver features a 1-piece, CNC-machined, stainless steel bolt, and a 3-lug design with a 70° throw for its oversized bolt handle for ample scope clearance.
