The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 features a highly simplified, one button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. An ergonomic precision-molded polymer grip frame supports the cold hammer-forged barrel and internal cylindrical bolt. A contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round, while the accurate sighting system allows for the use of Picatinny or Weaver style rails for easy mounting of optics. The ambidextrous safety can be converted to left-side only with a washer, putting it on the same side as the push-button magazine release.
